Indians women are commonly seen in Sarees, a cloth of 5-6 yards which is typically worn with a petticoat of a similar shade. It is a piece of cloth that will be wrapped around the body so that the embroidered end hangs over the shoulder,  whilst the petticoat is worn over the bellybutton to support the Sarees.
